Mr. Pfeifer started his teaching career in 2015. He attended The Ohio State University where he earned his degree in Italian before moving on to Ohio Dominican University to complete his M.A in Theology. In 2018 Mr. Pfeifer took on some additional responsibilities as the Assistant Dean of Students and the Saint Vincent de Paul Youth Chapter Coordinator. He has a passion for sharing the faith and helping the students seek out the deeper meaning of our relationship to God.
His family has continued to grow since he started at St. Paul and now includes his wife (Jazmin) and three children (Charleigh, Brody and Asher) along with their golden retriever (Piper). In his free time, he enjoys his family, playing golf, and setting aside time for moments of silence.
Mrs. Cody began teaching at Saint Paul in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bowling Green State University and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree from Ohio Dominican University in Educational Leadership.
Mrs Cody served as a 6th grade Science and Religious teacher for eight years and Science for 5th and 6th grade for two. In 2019 Mrs Cody became the STEAM Coordinator, facilitating all STEAM learning at Saint Paul School. During the 2020-2021 school year, Mrs Cody supported Saint Paul families and teachers in her role as STEAM Online Facilitator.
This year, in addition to coordinating Saint Paul’s ODE Designated STEAM program, Mrs. Cody will be overseeing the intervention team, state testing, and will support the teaching staff as the Teacher Leader in STEAM/PBL accreditation and curriculum.
acody@stpaulk-8.orgMr. Porretta is a graduate of St. Francis De Sales High School. From there he earned two Bachelor Degrees from Otterbein University in Music Education and Applied Tuba. In addition, he holds a Master's Degree from The Ohio State University in Music Education.
Mr. Porretta began teaching in 2000 as a high school and middle school band and choir teacher. In 2007 he came to the Diocese of Columbus as a traveling assistant band director. In 2010 he became full time at St. Paul.
In addition to his music instruction, this year Mr. Porretta will be overseeing the scheduling of classes, as well as myriad of other organizational tasks. He will also be managing the school’s State and Federal fundings, in addition to the school’s Emergency Assistance for Non Public School funds.

I am pleased to announce that Ms. Andrea Pore has accepted the Principal position at St. Paul School effective July 1st, 2022. Andrea comes to us as a seasoned educator entering her 21st year working in the Diocese of Columbus. She has served the past six years as Vice Principal at Bishop Watterson High School. Prior to that, she had multiple roles in her 16 years at St. Francis DeSales High School, her alma mater, including Theology teacher, AP Psychology teacher, and Director of Campus Ministry.
